Abstract: To guide an organization into a new culture, it is essential to have a framework that directs the journey. Defining our Professional Practice Model (PPMN) has been crucial for our organization, enabling us to articulate the nursing practice we develop. The components of the care environment outlined in this NPPM have been clearly defined, allowing us to explore ways to implement these components and measure their effectiveness.
Once the culture of your organization is established and your staff understands what each component means and how it manifests in practice, the Magnet framework can help elevate the organization to high standards of care. This framework facilitates discussions about evidence of improvements in practice, innovations, and research initiatives. This presentation aims to provide a brief overview of this transformative journey.
